Spectro Centre for New Music proudly announces the opening newsletter of 2nd edition of International Tehran Contemporary Music Festival, which takes place from 26th April to 5th May 2017.
This year’s edition started with a two-day discussion panels and lectures about contemporary music. In this event, musicians, researchers and professors from all around Iran talked about their experiences and views about contemporary music activities in country and abroad. The seminar was held in Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and was open to public.
Spectro Centre for New Music, as a curating institution for all the visiting international artists during the Festival, announces musicians performing in this year’s edition:

The grand opening of the musical program at the Festival took place on 28th April at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, starting with experimental concerts of Non-Standard Ensemble, led by Martyna Kosecka; Ensemble Zamyad and performance by Finnish artist Juho Laitinen.
Tehran Contemporary Music Festival, as the only national and international festival in the field of contemporary and academic music, is an independent cultural and artistic event, which is held annually with the support and cooperation of cultural and artistic institutions and associations.
